Soprano · Vocal Coach · Musical Theater
Helping singers of every age find their voice, on stage and in the studio.
Originally from the Midlands, Leigh Ann is excited to be back in South Carolina after spending time in the Midwest and the Northeast. She attended The South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities for high school, earned her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Converse College, and holds a Master of Music in Opera/Musical Theatre Performance from SIU Carbondale.
Raised in a musical family, Leigh Ann grew up surrounded by jazz, pop, rock, country, theater, classical, and sacred music. That range lets her mentor students with wide and varied interests — she's taught private lessons in voice, piano, and oboe for over a decade, and enjoys working with students of all ages.
Her performance credits include roles with the Phoenix Theatre Ensemble and Hudson Theatre Ensemble in NYC, with favorite roles including Lily in The Secret Garden and Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi. She made her directing debut in 2017 with Spartanburg Repertory Company's production of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown.
